• Village Code 7-7-3A7 prohibits parking on all Village streets between the hours of 2 AM and 6 AM. There are signs displaying this restriction at all roadway entrances into the Village.
• However, recognizing there are special circumstances that occur from time to time, permission can be obtained from the Island Lake Police Department for overnight street parking. This special permission is capped at a maximum of fourteen (14) total days per calendar year.
• Such permission is automatically rescinded if snowfall exceeds two inches (2”) in a single occurrence requiring that all village streets be kept clear for snow removal operations.
